Gimpo Cold Storage Center: Strategically Positioned Excellence

Located in the Gimpo Gochon Logistics Complex, Samwoo F&G’s Gimpo Cold Storage Center offers easy access to Seoul, Incheon, and northern Gyeonggi regions.
Built on a 9,280
(approximately 2,800 pyeong) site with a building area of 5,240 (about 1,600 pyeong) and storage space of 17,000 (approximately 5,150 pyeong), the center features a three-story structure with a basement. It accommodates 6,340 pallets arranged in spacious fixed racks.

The center is well-connected to key transport routes, including the Seoul Ring Expressway, Incheon International Airport Highway, Olympic Highway, West Coast Arterial Road, Gangbyeonbuk-ro, National Route 48, and Route 7. It is within a 20-40 minute reach of Gangnam (25 km), Seoul City Hall (20 km), Ilsan (15 km), Paju (35 km), and Bupyeong (18 km), minimizing logistics costs and improving customer service amidst rising fuel prices and traffic congestion.

Cold, Freezing, and Bonded Goods Storage

The Gimpo Cold Storage Center is equipped with 15 dedicated docks, two refrigeration rooms, one freezing room, and sorting facilities by delivery destinations. The basement offers independent access via ramps, and the ground floor includes 31 docks and four cold/frozen rooms. The second floor houses five cold/frozen warehouses, capable of maintaining temperatures as low as -25°C, and also features multi-purpose storage options for ambient temperature when needed.

Significantly, the third floor is designated as a bonded warehouse, enabling storage and customs clearance of imported goods close to the Seoul metropolitan area. Two state-of-the-art vertical conveyors and two cargo elevators ensure smooth operations, while 15 cryogenic truck chargers facilitate refrigerated truck operations.

Current Tenants and Advanced Services

Current tenants include GS Retail on the basement and ground floors, and KNL Logistics sharing the ground floor. CJ Logistics operates on the second floor, with remaining spaces available for lease. The third floor’s 1,500-pyeong bonded warehouse accommodates both domestic and foreign goods, transforming it into a cutting-edge fresh logistics center capable of handling frozen, refrigerated, controlled, and ambient temperatures.

The basement and ground floors feature independent freezing facilities for large-scale tenants, while the second and third floors offer bonded-related services, partial leasing, and outsourced warehousing services for SMEs. Equipped with advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and rack facilities, the center is ready for immediate service.

Samwoo F&G targets food manufacturers, distributors, and cold logistics specialists as primary clients for its low-temperature delivery services, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and bolster its clients’ logistical competitiveness through second-tier service improvements.
